“My main complaint was that to shower, i had to run the tub water for 10-15 minutes to get it warmed, from pitch cold. All five days. The place was clean, in and out. The accommodations were very good, breakfast was excellent and staff very good and helpful. I love to book places with pool, and this one was great. Weather was questionable at times but the pool was always warm, and warmer than any other places I’ve ever been. Always clean. Never to forget the views……amazing!”

“We really enjoyed our brief stay at the Ocean Gate Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful and the on-site amenities were plentiful. We especially enjoyed our morning kayak adventure where we saw a couple gray seals and a lobster boat out checking their traps. The breakfast buffet was good not great and the rooms were nice. Would definitely stay there again just to take advantage of all the on-site activities.”

“We did not have any service to our room. The coffee pods and cups were not replaced for the following day. No actual front desk on property. Room was smaller than appeared online.”

“Nice place to stay but rooms can use an upgrade. Remove rugs and upgrade television sets. Also resort fee is expensive especially during off season.”

“Beautiful view from property. Super clean room and surroundings. Quiet. Staff available at all times. Asked for towels and coffee pods one morning and returned to room at 9:30pm to find these were not delivered. Called the # provided for after hours and these items were delivered in 3 minutes with sincere apologies and kindness. We will stay here again next time we visit Maine.”

“The room was basic and clean. Noisy during the night but we did have the windows open. The check in information and codes were never sent. I had to reach out to them so check in was delayed 20 minutes.”

“Beautiful B&B located at the quiet end of the busy waterfront and convenient to everything we were interested in. Free parking was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, plus homemade cake and cookies as special treats were wonderful. Our hosts, Keith and Ciera, were welcoming, thoughtful, and very helpful--just terrific!”
